Mailbox Monday is hosted by Vicki and gives us a chance to share what we have gotten in this week.
Katherine at I Wish I Lived in a Library had posted about this book But Have You Read the Book? See her post here. Fortunately my library had a copy.
It was fun going through the titles and seeing which ones I'd read, which I had watched but not read and which ones I'd read and watched.
That's my week's Mailbox Monday. Hope you received some goodies this week.
Sharing with Vicki for Mailbox Monday

Fun idea, Tina. I have a professional development book that has a list of recommended titles that I am working on. Thanks for sharing.

Thank you, Cheryl. I love a list and a challenge.
DeleteLists like this are always fun. I've read a handful of(5) but watched several. Have a good week!
ReplyDeleteMary @Bookfan
Mary, it was fun to compare the titles to what I have read and watched!
DeleteI really need to get this book from the library! I'm planning on doing a bit of a reading staycation this weekend. It's been a busy few weeks and staying home reading sounds like just what I need. I hope you have a great week!
ReplyDeleteKatherine, you can pick movies to watch from the books you've read, that would be fun!
DeleteGood list of books/movies ... classics & modern classics. I'm a bit hit & miss if I've seen or read them. I still sort of want to read The Virgin Suicides. But it was also a movie? I hope you like Jack Irish -- I hadn't heard of it -- but I like Guy Pearce. He's in a lot of films! I recently saw him in The Brutalist (2024 film) ... but I didn't care too much for the film but Guy is almost always top-notch. Cheers.
ReplyDeleteSusan, Guy Pearce was also good in Mare of Easton opposite Kate Winslet. We just finished season one and I am about to pickup Landman today from the library. Only seven more "sleeps" and we are outta here! That gives us enough time tio watch Landman.
DeleteDarn, Jack Irish is on Acorn by subscription. I'll see if I can find elsewhere.
ReplyDeleteI got it from the library. I will probably pick your brain about streaming subscriptions soon as we will finally have internet.
DeleteI found Jack Irish on Hoopla!!!!
ReplyDeleteYea! Don't forget to watch Set one and two before Seasons 1, 2 and 3!
DeleteWhat a great book you shared with so many fabulous titles!
